Carleton University Simulator Project is not currently sponsored by any commercial or government agency. The funding for CUSP is provided by the following associations:
- The Carleton University Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
- The Carleton Student Engineering Society.
- The Carleton University Engineering Student Endowment Fund.
Each year, industry professionals, including representatives from two major simulator companies, are invited to participate in the year-end design review. Their input is used to inform both the marks of the students and the direction that the project will take in the following year.
CUSP would like to thank all of our sponsors in this and previous years, without whom the project would not be possible. For a full list of organizations who have contributed to CUSP over its history, please refer to the following document.
Become a Sponsor
CUSP represents a exciting educational project in multifunctional simulator engineering. The Atlas design is an industry first, and development of this unique and innovative simulator platform is funded solely by the organizations listed above. We are seeking sponsorship for the purchase of materials and equipment for research and development during this and subsequent years.
Sponsorship can take the form of monetary and material donations, discounts, services, or time. Tax receipts will be provided by Carleton University and sponsors will benefit from increased publicity in the research community. Additionally, sponsors have the opportunity to network with recent graduates who have developed skills in the modelling and simulation field as well as project related soft skills.
Please direct your inquiries or statements of interest to the CUSP project manager, Prof. Robert Langlois
